Maybe you’re carrying more than anyone realizes.

You hold everything together.

Everyone thinks you're okay.

But you're tired.

Not physically.

Emotionally.

Therapy that starts with you.

You don't need to arrive with the right words. You don't need to know exactly what's wrong. You don't have to wait until things feel "bad enough."

We simply begin with where you are. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before you begin.

Together, we'll untangle what's been weighing on you, understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, and discover small, meaningful steps toward a life that feels more like your own.

Not by changing who you are, but by helping you reconnect with yourself.

What our work together might look like

  • Feeling understood without needing to explain everything.

  • Learning to trust yourself a little more.

  • Finding practical ways forward when life feels overwhelming.

  • Making space for rest, boundaries, and the version of you that's been waiting underneath it all.

Who I help

If you've found yourself nodding along so far,
you're not alone.

You don't need to fit perfectly into one category to benefit from therapy. If even one of these feels familiar, we can explore it together.

Here's what getting started can look like.

01

REACH OUT

Book a free 20-minute consultation. We'll talk about what's bringing you here, what you're hoping for, and answer any questions you have.

02

BEGIN

Our first session is about understanding your storynot rushing to fix it. We'll identify what's been keeping you stuck and decide together where to begin.

03

GROW

Therapy isn't about becoming someone different. It's about feeling more like yourself, with healthier boundaries, greater self-trust, and practical ways to navigate everyday life.

Hi, I'm Erika

BASc, MACP
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I created Malaya Therapy because I believe everyone deserves a space where they can slow down, feel genuinely heard, and reconnect with themselves without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. Together, we'll explore what's been keeping you stuck, understand the patterns beneath it, and find meaningful ways forward that feel realistic and sustainable for your life.

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be yourself. My role isn't to have all the answers, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, empathy, and support as you make sense of what's been weighing on you.

Whether you're navigating burnout, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, or questions of identity, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel safe enough to come home to yourself, one meaningful step at a time, toward feeling malaya: free.
